Text: OBITUARY MRS HUTCHINSON, OPERATED ON, DIED Mrs Elsa May Hutchinson, wife of Samuel J Hutchinson of 534 B street, died at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon following an operation for appendicitis early in the morning. She was taken ill Sunday night after retiring and as treatment failed to relieve her an operation was decided on. It was seen at once that there was no hope for her recovery. Mrs Hutchinson was born in Iowa, in 1886. and married to Mr Hutchinson in San Francisco in 1906. She was a widow, with two sons, at the time of her union to him. They now reside in the southern part of the state. One son, Samuel Jr, was the only child of the second union, and he died an accidental death here only three months ago. Olaf and Orien Reno, the other sons, will be here for the funeral. Mr Hutchinson is in poor health and the double bereavement falls heavily upon him. He has the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
