Jane Hutchinson was born Aug 13, 1862, in Rock Island county, Ill, and died at her home near Montezuma, Iowa, Aug 4, 1907, lacking but nine days of being 45 years of age. She was married to Samuel Hall of Montezuma, Iowa, on March 14, 1900. To them were born three children, two of whom preceded her to the great beyond. She is survived by her husband and one son - Cecil, six years old; also her mother, Mrs Mary S Hutchinson, and two brothers, Joseph and William J Hutchinson, all of whom live in Milan, Ill. She was baptized in infancy and at the age of 15 was confirmed in the Episcopal church and lived a consistent member of the same to the day of her death.

The funeral was held from the M E church at 2:30 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon. Rev U S Smith conducted the service in the presence of a great number of relatives and friends who had gathered to pay a last tribute of respect to one who they had known long and well.
