He resided with his sister-in-law, Mrs Charlotte Hutchinson. Born May 3, 1865, the son of Thomas and Susan Ramsey Hutchinson. He never married. Surviving are a brother, James R Hutchinson, and a sister, Mrs W W Long, of Bowling. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock on the farm and 11 o'clock at the Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian church with the Rev Mr Shaw of Norwood, Ill officiating. Pallbearers will be William Ferkle, George Brown, Harry Anderson, Charles Love, Ben Cutler and W F Neumann, all of Milan. Rock Island Argus, January 29, 1940 LIFE RESIDENT OF BOWLING IS TAKEN BY DEATH Funeral Held at Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church Yesterday - Norwood Pastor Here Funeral services for William Henry Hutchinson, 74-year-old Bowling township farmer, who succumbed Sunday noon, were held yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the farm of Mrs Charlotte Hutchinson, with whom he resided, and at 11:00 o'clock at the Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian church. Rev U G Lacey, the pastor, was assisted in the services by Rev Wm M Shaw, Norwood, Ill. The church was packed to overflowing and it was necessary for more than 50 persons to go to the church basement. Clarence Clarke and Mrs Dave Connelly of Preemption sang "Home of the Soul," "Does Jesus Care," and "Lights of Home." Edward Blakely played the piano accompaniment. Pallbearers were William Ferkle, George Brown, Harry Anderson, Chas Love, Ben Cutler and W F Neumann, all of Milan. Burial was made in the Preemption cemetery. Mr Hutchinson's death followed an illness of two months. He had spent his entire life on the farm in Bowling township where he resided with his sister-in-law. He was bron May 3, 1865, a son of Thomas and Susan Ramsey Hutchinson. He never married. Surviving are a brother, James R Hutchinson and a sister, Mrs W W Long of Bowling and a number of nieces and nephews.
